Standing on our own two feet
When Hovis exited from Premier Foods and became a standalone company, with a new major investor and leadership team, they wanted to bring their employees with them as they began a new phase of their journey.
As well as identifying and introducing the new Hovis purpose, vision, strategy and values, the leadership team needed to communicate a major change programme (including site closures and job losses). Following this, they needed to maintain engagement with the broader team and keep them informed about progress.
We worked with the leadership team on messages and materials, delivered via two way roadshows. This was followed up with regular site visits and employee recognition awards (Hovis Heroes) to embed the new values and celebrate successes.
In addition, we established ‘day to day’ communication channels including a monthly TeamTalk, quarterly leadership events, a regular CEO blog, and HovisNet.
